Lagos traffic is one thing Lagosians have to deal with every day. There is no way you get to escape this traffic in Lagos, no matter what and whom you are!

You would think the traffic is being caused by something very serious, till you get to the front and realize it was just an inconsiderate driver trying to buy bread or plantain chips in traffic, and every other person has to suffer for his misgivings.
Sometimes. all you need to do is get to the front of the traffic and see that nothing was the problem all along.

You see those huge trucks that get spoilt on the road and automatically, the road becomes the new garage for the vehicle, those ones are the biggest causes of traffic on Lagos roads.
These spoilt vehicles make cars swerve and creates traffic for hours, sometimes even for days.
3. Danfo Buses Stopping and picking up passengers
Danfo and keke drivers in Lagos can stop anywhere to pick or drop off passengers, be it in the middle of the road, roundabouts, even on third mainland bridge.
If you try to say anything as a well-meaning Nigerian, your insult will be epic. This is another major cause of traffic on Lagos roads.
4. Street Parties or Religious Gatherings
As a Lagosian, you should be familiar with the impromptu street parties or the religious gatherings.
If you’ve never seen any of these before, congratulations, you escaped the trenches part of Lagos.
These parties often happen with no prior warning, just vibes and traffic.
Now drivers have to manage a portion of the road because a party has consumed the other half.
5. Agberos Collecting Money
Sometimes, I wonder if spider man left Marvel and came to Nigeria, because the way these guys jump on buses to collect morning needs to be studied.
Most of the traffic in Lagos are caused by these ridiculous factors.
