Permit me to say that, ‘BBNaija will never be same without Ebuka.’ He literally embodies the show and it has become a part and parcel of his personality.
Fans across the country and beyond, look forward to the show not just because of the drama, the distraction it brings (because omo! Nothing is as addictive as watching a social experiment from the comfort of your homes or DSTV app), but also because of Ebuka.
I am talking about his Steeze, his sense of style that gets people talking for days (and trying to replicate with their roadside tailors), his command of English, his smart way of asking questions & extracting those juicy facts fans are steady craving. You know there is so much more but let me put a pause here before I get carried away.
Anyways, this year, for the 10th edition, he decided to go back-in-time, reenacting drop-dead gorgeous styles from historic figures and Nigerian legends.
Oya come and feed your eyes on them;
BBNaija Season 10 Launch Night 1
First Look
For his first appearance, he had on from head to toe; a beige beanie cap, a denim jacket, white tees, a pink palazzo pants that spoke so much volume with every move & pose, a black fanny pack and sneakers that just complimented the entire look.
The combo was on fiiiiiirrrrrreeee and it is no news that it was extracted from a back-in-the-day Nollywood movie, and inspired by the one and only Osuofia, Nkem Owoh, the legendary actor, comedian and singer.

The pink lace was the most fascinating fabric of them all. The colour was so vibrant, it made Ebuka shine brighter (we can finally argue with our full chest that pink is a great colour for men as well).
From his pink lace Fila, to the traditional beads, pink lace agbada and black shoe, the outfit ate and left no crumbs.
And if you haven’t guessed already, it was inspired by King Sunny Ade, the renowned 78yrs-old king of juju music, Grammy nominee, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
The iconic inspiration for this outfit, has been called one of the most influential musicians of all time, and we can almost say the same for this outfit, it is simply ICONIC!

BBNaija Season 10 Launch Night 2
First Look
Different is the word. Unique is the vibe! Gorgeous is the end result.
This throwback look got us in our feelings because nothing could beat this bad-boy suit that steals breathe. From the newspaper print design, to the flair of the trousers, it is a BANGER!
The ensemble is creatively inspired by Prince Nico Mbarga, the acclaimed singer of one of the highest selling singles ever by an African artiste, ‘Sweet Mother’. Prince Nico, was a Cameroonian-Nigerian highlife musician that reigned supreme in the Nigerian music industry in the 1970s.

A traditional man we stan! A proud Nigerian we hail!
This regalia is one for the books, celebrating the rich Ijaw culture that makes the southern-eastern region of Nigeria a must-visit.
Delectable and sophisticated, I can beat my chest and state that Mai Atafo finshed work on this. As rightfully said by DebolaLagos in the comments, “When culture meets pop culture, a powerful renaissance begins.”
From the rafia fedora hat, flowing shirt, George material wrapper with a train so long, it feels like its never-ending, traditional beads that glimmers & shines, and finally the walking stick that completes the look.
It was inspired by a cultural moment from Nigeria’s first minister of finance, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh… And we can’t get enough of eeeettttt!
