You hear people talking about soft like and chanting it like it’s a mantra. Meanwhile, I’m sha wondering if it’s the same earth we are living on.
Cos how???
You open Instagram and someone in their twenties has either gotten the latest iPhone, a new wig or even vacationing abroad.
It’s now looking like someone is unambitious.
Just last week that you got that expensive sunscreen, it now feels like a financial mistake that might cost you the whole month, I’m just a girl na ***cries in premium brokeness*
Soft life where???
At this point it’s not soft life, it’s sponsored life.
Because how did we move from “take your time” to “if you’re not living large at 23, you lack vision”?
Now, surviving is not enough.
You must thrive.
Glow.
Rebrand.
Maybe soft life isn’t the problem.
Maybe the pressure to prove you’re living it is.
But if your version of soft life is full of anxiety, and silent comparison… is it still soft?
