Before you make that next trip outside Nigeria, you should read this first, so you don’t take that bad character to another country and risk going to jail.
Some of these laws are very weird, but very punishable!
1.Do not cut down a cactus in Arizona, USA
Cutting down a Saguaro Cactus in Arizona is a serious crime that can get you 25 years in prison.
Hmmm who would have thought that ordinary cactus can land you in prison.
hmmm Nigerians take note ooo
2. Naming Restrictions in Denmark
Parents must choose names from a government approved list of names. If you want to give your child a unique name, then you require official permission to ensure children are not burdened with harmful names.
Just imagine if this law was brought to Nigeria, Nigerians would stage a protest…how else would parents name their children “Living testimony, Divine faithfulness”.
3.No flushing toilets after 10pm in Switzerland
Now, in some apartments in Switzerland, flushing your toilets after 10pm might just land you in trouble.
So, hold that pee, hold that poo till dawn, because nobody wants to bail you out of prison for pooing!
4. No hiking naked in Switzerland.
No matter how hot your body looks, the people of Switzerland don’t care! Do not and i repeat, do not go hiking naked in Switzerland.
But wait ooo, why would people want to go hiking naked! as in stark naked?
I really want to know what the person that made this law saw before proceeding to make this law
Anyways, if you’re a Nigerian trying to do this in Switzerland, just know that you’re going to jail straight!
5. No walking barefoot in Capri, Italy
Walking around without a footwear in capri is highly prohibited. If you get caught, you could pay a huge fine, get jail time, or get deported.
So, take note! put your shoes on in Capri!
6. Black cars are banned in Turkmenistan
If you’re thinking of cruising round Turkmenistan with your black car, omooo I’m sorry for you oo, because only white cars are acceptable in this central Asian country.
Trying to imagine a road with just white cars…hmmmm i kind of like how everywhere would look, beautiful and clean.
7.Do not take selfies with Buddha in Sri Lanka
It is regarded as a huge disrespect when you turn your back on Buddha in Sri Lanka. You could take a picture of buddha, but for you to turn your back and take a picture of you and buddha together is not tolerated. You could get fined, suspended or even given a jail sentence if you do such.
You’re also not allowed to kiss or touch the statue anyhow! that too is an offence.
So, hey! be careful out there and avoid getting caught doing what you shouldn’t.
