Believe it or not, many of your favourite Nigerian artistes owe their introduction into the very cut throat music industry to Olamide. The last one might shock you.

1. Asake

Olamide jumped on Asake’s Omo Ope in 2022, shortly before signing him to his label, YBNL. The rest as they say, is history.

2. Bella Shmurda

Still a student in Lasu (Lagos state university) and chasing a music career, Bella Shmurda’s life changed all of a sudden when Baddo graced him with a verse on his street anthem “Vision 2020”.

3. Ycee

Ycee was a buzzing rapper in the music scene but it wasn’t until Olamide jumped on the remix of his song “Jagaban” that everyone knew he was a force to be reckoned with.

5. T.I Blaze

T.I Blaze’s “Sometimes” was already being accepted in the streets before Baddo jumped on the song and made it a certified banger on arrival.

6. Badboytimz

Without a doubt, Badboytimz was already making a name for himself with his song “MJ” and a remix featuring Mayorkun. But it took his very catchy hook on Olamide’s “Loading” to solidify his name in the industry.

A little while before the Zanku crooner hooked the entire nation with his dance moves and his lamba, Olamide actually gave him a comfortable sitting in the industry with their 2017 street banger “My Body”.
