WALK AGAINST CYBERBULLYING

On Saturday, March 28th, Kraks Media didn’t just organize a walk, they turned a route from Omole Phase 1 to ICM into something that felt more like a reckoning. People showed up with placards, with energy, with things they’d been wanting to say to the internet for a long time. And they said them out loud, on foot, in public. Above all they showed up with the Kraks energyyyyyy.

This wasn’t your typical awareness event at all. The crowd was alive, the signs were sharp, and the message was clear: the Nigerian digital space deserves better. Better behaviour, better conversations and a whole lot more empathy. Don’t make people cry online, abegggg.

The walk pulled a proper crowd, and when celebrities Tega Clifford and Samuel Banks stepped onto the street with everyone else, the energy shifted. The vibe was rich!

“Cyberbullying is bad. Let’s share love with ourselves, encourage each other, spread love, and engage with your friends’ posts.”
— Samuel Banks.

After the walk, participants gathered for games, music, and Vox Pop sessions, real people sharing real experiences with cyberbullying.

Kraks Media has always been entertaining, but Saturday proved our stance when it comes to cyberbullying and trolling online.

To everyone who showed up, held a sign, or amplified the message online, you were the walk!!
