Hi my loves, how are you all feeling? Good, I hope, because as for me ehn, I’ve devised a coping mechanism with the mantra “Nigeria will not happen to me”.
Besties, ten is happening o. This week’s subject is at cross roads and is confused on what to do. Her intentional man suffers from body and mouth odor.
Y’all need to take a breather from thinking about Nigeria’s economic downturn and Tinubu’s renewed “shege” era and read my tea for the week.
“I have a boyfriend and we have been dating for a year now. From the beginning, I had real feelings for him. Was so in love with him but later on, as soon as we start getting close to each other, I realized he has body odor and mouth odor.
Can’t even kiss him. Lied to him that I don’t like kissing that I get irritated easily because of spit and all. Later on, I told him that he smells, in a polite way, and that he should try and wash his tongue well, and also try to shave his armpit.
I even bought body spray and deodorants for him. He changed for a while but later on, I noticed he still smells. He doesn’t like shaving. I always tell him to shave but he won’t answer me and he is someone who sweats a lot.
I see myself distancing myself from him cos of bad smell, he always want us to be together and always love to cuddle but I can’t withstand bad odor. Now, I don’t always want to be with him and because of that, I am loosing feelings for him.
I know this guy really loves me because he cares for me a lot. He is really into me. I am just dating him out of pity cos I don’t want to break his heart and he has done a lot for me. This guy is really crazy about me.
He is even talking about marriage. I wish he doesn’t smell, he would have been the best guy to be with.
Should I break up with him or I should not give up on him? I have tried my best to change him but he doesn’t want to change”
Over to you guys. What do you think she should do? Would you stick with the man if you were in her shoes or hold you leave???
