Fathers are the absolute best! They love, care, protect and provide for their families without grumbling.
Let us take a moment to appreciate all the amazing fathers around the word that are available and active fir their family. We loveeee you fathers!
So, back to Nigerian fathers, here are 5 ways Nigerian fathers say they love you without actually saying hose three letter words, because they would rather chew jeans and starve for one year before they say I love you” out loud.
1.Have you eaten?
Fathers will not tell you they love you, but they always want to make sure you are well fed and fattened up. That is their top priority. If you haven’t, expect them to drop money for food immediately!
2. Driving you around
Your daddy is ready to drive you to the ends of the earths just to make sure you’re comfortable and not dragging with any driver for change.
Whether its school runs or dropping you at the bus stop, that’s their unspoken “I love you.”
3.Fixing Things
So long as daddy is around, you that that any that gets spoilt in the house will definitely get fixed up, especially if it affects his children.
Your father will climb on the highest rooftop just to make sure the antenna is properly structured for you to watch your cartoon or film. If that is not love, then I really don’t know what that is.
4. Silent Transfers
No long talk, no serenre, just a quiet bank alert that says, “Take care of yourself.” The sweetest part is that this money comes exactly when you need it! Like they just know. omoooo fathers are magical, can’t lie.
5.Random Advice
At random moments they just drop very strong words that stick with you for a lifetime. I guess this is just their silent way of telling us that they care deeply.
For all the times that you were awake, thinking about your family’s welfare and all the late nights you spent restless, working for a better future for you family, we say a very big thank you too all amazing fathers!
You guys rule the world, and our lives would definitely be grey if you were not in it.
Happy Father’s Day in advance!!
