Don’t panic, but the year is almost over. We’re in the last stretch, and soon everybody will be asking, “Where did 2026 go?” Here’s what to sort out before December swallows you.
1. Finish that one thing you’ve been “about to start”

The business plan, the course, the gym membership you paid for and visited twice. You still have about ten weeks, which is plenty of time to do it badly, and doing it badly beats not doing it. Pick one thing and finish it.
2. Clear your debts

That friend who lent you money in March has not forgotten ooo, neither has the person you owe a transfer to. Enter the new year with a lighter conscience and less baggage
3. Set a December budget before December sets one for you

Detty December is not cheap. Between concerts, transport, outfits and surprise “come and chill” invitations, your account can disappear in a weekend. Write down a number and stick to it.
4. Do the follow-up

Reply to the message you left on read. Yes, aunty call the friend you promised to “link up” with. Send the email you’ve been avoiding. Opportunities don’t expire on December 31, but your nerve might, so do it now.
5. Take one proper day off

No emails, no posting, no “quick check.” Just rest. You’ve survived everything life has thrown at you so one day of doing nothing is the least you owe yourself.
